Ranveer Singh pays a dancing tribute to Big B and Mithun Da on DID 4

Ranveer Singh on DID 4
Promoting their upcoming movie Ram Leela on the sets of Zee TV’s Dance India Dance 4 (Esselvision), heartthrob Ranveer Singh and Ganesh Acharya will be seen ‘dancing it out’ along with the judges and contestants of the show this Saturday, 16 November at 9 PM. Entering the show dancing on the famous ‘Tattad Tattad’ from their upcoming caper, the actor-choregrapher duo seemed to have a blast during their visit to the sets. While Ranveer interacted with the young dancers and joined them up on stage to shake a leg multiple times through the show, Ganesh was seen catching up his fellow choreographers-turned DID Judges – Feroz Khan, Mudassar Khan and Shruti Merchant. Paying a tribute to Mithun Da during his performance, Ranveer was seen imitating Dada’s famous pelvic thrust from the song ‘Disco dancer’. Apart from Dada, Ranveer was also seen paying tribute to Sr. Bachchan when he mouthed one of Mr. Bachchan’s famous dialogues from his movie. Talking about his visit to the show, Ranveer said, “I am glad to be on the sets of DID 4, for I will be meeting Dada after a long time. Apart from Dada, I am glad to have shared the dance floor with Shruti Merchant, who choreographed the high-energy number - Thug LeLadies Vs. Ricky Bahl’. Also, the kind of talent that I saw on DID was mind blowing. I saw a 15 year boy do slow-mo with such perfection and ease. It is fabulous to have a platform like this for such shows only take the level of dancing a notch higher.” Announcing the Top 18 contestants this week, each of the three judges will now have a team of 6 contestants. They will hone their skippers and prepare them to fight and win the sunehri taqdeer ki topi. The competition begins with much aplomb this weekend with a power-packed and fun-filled episode as the Top 18 begin their journey towards winning the biggest title of India – winner of Dance India Dance Season 4!
