Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu to turn producers with a show on Sahara One

Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu, the lovey-dovey couple who fell in love and got married while doing the Colors’ show Uttaran (FilmFarm Productions) are apparently turning producers with a show, Tu Na Jaane Aas Paas Hai Khuda, on Sahara One. Yes, they are producing it in association with Entertainment Hub (makers of The Haunted Nights). Nandish and Rashmi’s production house is called Rashmi Desai Productions. Moreover, Rashmi will play the female lead in the show. We also learned that Nandish was supposed to play the guy opposite Rashmi in it, but things got changed when Nandish got the plump offer of playing the lead in Jay Mehta’s next on Zee TV. However, according to recent reports, Nandish opted out of the Zee show too as he is suffering from a kidney stone problem and will soon be undergoing a surgery. So the search for male lead for the Sahara show is still on. Furthermore, Tellychakkar.com also found out that veteran actress Rupa Divetia has been roped in to be a part of the show. The pilot for Tu Na Jaane… has been shot, and the channel has apparently given them a go-ahead. After several attempts to get in touch with Nandish and Rashmi, Nandish did reply to our text message which read, “If there is anything like this, I would let you know. We will announce it properly when we plan a production house”. Rupa Divetia confirmed that she is a part of the Sahara show but refused to get into details.
