Since celebrating Raksha Bandhan with reel siblings has become a trend now, Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka actors suit too!

Actors Sanjay Gagnani and Shivya Pathania, who play a brother-sister on the Sony TV show, celebrated the festival on the sets. As Sanjay was out of town on the day of Raksha Bandhan, Shivya tied Rakhi to him on August 23.

Talking about the same, Sanjay shared, “I would just like to say that some relationships happen unexpectedly and I am glad that Shivya saw a brother in me. Initially, I was a little hesitant to get into this relationship because I wasn't sure if we could maintain this pure relationship of a brother and a sister but her innocence and constant honest efforts melted my heart. It felt really special when she told me that she has a brother in her hometown Shimla and I am her only brother from Mumbai. I have promised her that I will always be there for her.”

When asked what gifts he gave to Shivya on Raksha Bandhan, he said, “I would be gifting her something special very soon, which would be a surprise for her.”
