MUMBAI: Asha Negi and Rithvik Dhanjani broke up last year. The two actors have not divulged details about why they parted ways.

However, both Asha and Rithvik were seen wishing each other on their birthdays on social media. They might be sharing a cordial relationship, but AshVik (Asha+Rithvik) fans have still not come to terms with their break-up. Some fans even posted hate comments on Asha's social media pages.

Recently, Asha Negi revealed that after her first interview post-break-up with Rithvik Dhanjani, she received a lot of hate comments. In an interview, Asha Negi spoke about how she still gets messages asking why she and Rithvik broke up. She said, "People have no chills. They are still messaging. They leave comments like 'why did you break up', 'you guys were so nice together'. I know those were good times, but it's our lives and we have a right to choose what we want for our lives. People don't think much about that. They are right there on your head judging you for your personal choices. It's so sad that people don't understand that just because we are public figures you can't write anything and everything. Agar public figure hai toh kya feelings nahi hai. We are also humans.".

Asha revealed that initially dealing with hate comments and trolls was difficult for her but now she doesn't let these comments affect her. "Last year it was difficult because it was very new for me. Every message, every negative comment was affecting me but I am fine now. It doesn't really matter. Padh ke lagata hai ki har koi apna apna opinion de rha hai tum bhi de lo.".

Asha Negi and Rithvik Dhanjani were in a relationship for more than seven years before parting ways in 2020. Both Asha and Rithvik have maintained silence on their break-up.

On the work front, Asha Negi's new web series Khwabon Ke Parindey began streaming on Voot from Monday (June 14). The series also stars Mrinal Dutta, Manasi Moghe and Tushar Sharma.
