RIP Sandeep Acharya; Indian Idol 2 winner dies of jaundice

This is indeed sad news!!! Talented and spirited singer Sandeep Acharya, who skyrocketed to fame winning the second season of Indian Idol, passed away of jaundice at a hospital in Gurgaon on Sunday morning. He was 29 and is survived by his wife and an infant daughter. Sandeep hails from Bikaner, Rajasthan, and was admitted to Medanta Hospital reporting illness after attending one of his relative’s wedding ceremony. Many eminent singers expressed sadness over this untimely demise. Singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal tweeted about the 29-year-old singer’s brilliance. May Lord give strength to his family members.
