MUMBAI: When Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 launched with both the old and new cast line-up, their fans' hype knew no boundaries. 

However, the viewers received a huge shock as Rupal Patel aka Kokila Modi exited the show after a month. Though the senior actress revealed that it was all planned right before SNS 2's launch, the audience was left disheartened. 

With Rupal's exit, rumours of Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu and Mohammad Nazim aka Ahem's exit from the show are also doing the rounds. 

It was revealed that Gopi, Koki, and Ahem were introduced in the show only for a finite period, in order to introduce the new family. 

Now, as per our sources, it has been speculated that Devoleena's 'last' episode on the show will air on 23rd November, i.e., next Monday. 

Reports further suggest that the entire Modi family (including the cast members of Swati Shah, Vandana Vithlani and Mohammad Nazim) will exit the show soon. Latest news also claims that Devoleena and other members of the Modi family in SNS 2 have already wrapped up their final episode's shoot by 11th November itself.

Now, the new cast who are portraying the 'Desai family' will continue their journey in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. 

The final decision on how the story would further shape-up post-Modi family's exit is yet to be decided. 

The show is currently encompassing the storylines of both the 'Desai' and the 'Modi' families. However, these two stories did not seem to converge well. Not only this, the Modi's track was somehow dominatingly overshadowing the Desai's track. 

Hence, the channel (Star Plus) and producers have decided to concentrate only on one track i.e. on the Desai family.

From 24th November, the Modi family would permanently exit from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. 

We are all going to undoubtedly miss the entire Modi family, especially Ahem-Gopi's eternal bondage on this show.
