MUMBAI: The entire world has suffered a lot after the novel Coronavirus spread like a wildfire across the globe.
Lakhs of people died and were badly affected by the deadly virus.
Everything came to a standstill for a few months after the lockdown was announced for several months till the condition became better.

Many people lost their jobs as companies were shut overnight. The entertainment industry also had to bear the brunt as the shootings of various films, TV shows, web series were shut for several months for safety reasons.
While the first wave created havoc but things got better after a few months and the shootings were started once again.
However, the makers of many TV shows decided to shut the serials overnight as they were undergoing huge losses.
No one expected to see the second wave which was even worse than the first one.
A lot of TV shows which were functioning well post the first lockdown faced a huge problem with the second lockdown and were finally shut down.
So, here's a list of television shows which got shut down during the second wave of the pandemic.
1. Rudrakaal
The crime thriller series which premiered on 7 March this year abruptly went off-air on 10 May 2021, due to the COVID-19 curfew in Maharashtra.
2. Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii
The much-awaited show which started airing earlier this year had to be ended abruptly as the star cast exhausted the bank of episodes and things didn't work out for the makers to shoot in such conditions.
3. Story 9 Months Ki
Sony TV's show was axed because of the lockdown which starred Sukirti Kandpal and Aashay Mishra.
4. Teri Ladli Mein
Teri Laadli Main that aired from 5 January 2021 - 22 April 2021 on Star Bharat went off air abruptly without conclusion on 22 April 2021 due to its very low TRP ratings and due to global COVID-19 pandemic situation.
5. Amma Ke Babu ki Baby
The show shut down abruptly on 22 April 2021 due to its very low TRP ratings and the second wave of pandemic situation. However, the show was confirmed to go off air and returned with a finale episode on 31 May 2021.
6. Durga: Mata Ki Chhaya
The show which started airing last year in December was taken off-air in the month of March.
7. Gupta Brothers
The comedy-drama series that aired on 5 October 2020 ended on 26 January 2021.
