Saheem Khan graduates from being a 'baddie' to a 'cop' for Sony TV's Crime Patrol

Saheem Khan

Actor Saheem Khan who has always donned a negative image in his lot many episodic stints of Crime Patrol and Savdhan India will for the first time get ‘positive’ for Sony TV’s popular series, Crime Patrol.

Director Lalit Marathe, who directed Ram Gopal Verma’s movie Chapri, starring Isha Koppikar will be directing this special episode of Crime Patrol. The episodic will be produced by Purple Canvas Productions.

The story will revolve around Saheem’s character, who will be a police inspector by name Prashant Bhortake. The guy will initially be seen stalking a girl by name Mansi in a civilian attire. This will be when the viewers will start wondering what the guy is upto. But with the story progression, Prashant’s real motive will come out. And it will get revealed that he is actually following the girl Mansi, as she would have apparently killed her husband.

However, Mansi will prove to be a master at the game, and she will tactfully get the inspector suspended from duty, for having stalked her, and for putting a false charge on her.

The story will then deal with the way in which Prashant will return with full gusto to catch Mansi red-handed as the killer of her husband.

We hear that Jia Mustafa of Pavitra Rishta fame will play the role of Mansi in the story.

When contacted, Saheem told us, “Yes, this is a big opportunity for me. I have done two Bollywood movies as lead, and have the experience of being part of 85 episodes of Savdhan India and 56 episodes of Crime Patrol. However, all the roles on TV have been negative. For the first time, I will be playing a cop for Crime Patrol and I am happy about it.”

This particular story will air on 20 and 21 January, that is starting from tonight.
