Sangram Singh donates parts of his body

A couple of years ago Aishwariya Rai now, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan went public with her decision to donate her eyes and also requested the aam janta to do the same. It’s been a long time since then that we have seen celebs do something that noble. But, we at Tellychakkar.com recently came across someone who did not just donate his eyes but all parts of his body. Well, this person is none other than Sangram Singh who along with his girlfriend Payal Rohatgi was recently at the Tellychakkar.com office as a guest editor. This wrestler who is also the brand ambassador of PETA went on to donate his eyes, kidney, brain and heart a fortnight ago as he reveals, “Initially, I was apprehensive about donating my body parts, but then Payal motivated me after which I felt that I must do something for the disabled. Hence, while I was in my hometown Haryana, I donated my body parts. Soon after, 20,000 other people also donated their body parts in Haryana. Right now, I am planning to spread this awareness in different states.” Though Payal motivated him and also supported him in this cause, the wrestler’s mother was dead against the idea. “My mother comes from the old school of thoughts. Hence, when I explained her what I was going to do, she tried stopping me but, when I explained her in details, she gave in,” said Sangram. Kudos to you Sangram!
