Of late, Mohd Shameem Faridi, the Supervising Producer (SP) of Saregama India Ltd’s Savdhan India, has been jumping with joy.
The reason is that the Association of Cine & TV/ AD Production Executives has appreciated his work.
For those interested, the Association of Cine & TV/ AD Production Executives organizes award function for the best executives every year and in its eleventh year it has chosen Shameem as the Best Supervising Producer.
“Everybody likes appreciation, but it’s best when the platform is bigger,” admits the SP who took the trophy back home on the 25th (25 January) night.
Interestingly, he won this particular award for his Star Plus project Teri Meri Love Stories. “The one for Savdhan is yet to arrive,” he says with a hearty laugh.
This is not the first time that the Federation has rewarded his work. Shameem had earlier lapped up the trophy for the best production controller for Sahara One’s Mata Ki Chowki and Star Plus’ Chehra in 2009.
Lastly he adds, “I am extremely touched and happy about the fact that my work is being noticed.”
The award was given away by General Secretary of Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA), Dharmesh Tiwari.
Keep up the good work Shameem!!!
