Indian Idol show which is a very popular show aired on Sony Entertainment Television is now in new flashes always. Recently Abhijeet appeared on the show as a guest and spoke about the two judges present there. Abhijeet ( 62 ) thinks that the present judges have just a few of experiece and they do not contribute much either. Abhijeet did not stop here but also denied to share the screen with namely judges while he came to the show. When in conversation with Bollywood spy Abhijeet mentions - " I told them, I am not asking for work, I am asking for what is rightfully mine. People work under me. I am the employer.
They call people who’ve sung four songs in their life. You make those people judges who haven’t served the music. They are only commercial. They’ve given hit songs, but they haven’t given music anything.” Remembering RD Burman , Bhattacharya says - " If RD Burman were alive today, they wouldn’t have called him. They don’t give me awards. That’s the similarity between me, RD Burman, and Kishore Kumar — no one recognises us three greats… These fools expose themselves by ignoring me.” He also adds and talks about the current song sytem with the remix mixing culture for the same.
He reveals that the singers even are paid Rs.500 only sometimes.
Abhijeet goes bonkers and says in refrence to Anu Maik and Manoj Muntashir , the singers asks them - " Is this is a joke?” and said, “They said, ‘Dada, we’ve made a big mistake’. I am the real judge, not those who promote themselves, their songs, their albums, themselves; not the contestants. They use contestants; they aren’t judges.” In this way, the whole reality show and music concepts topic was discussed, while Abhijeet puts forth all his points.
