Shamin Mannan approached to play Yashodhara in Zee TV's Buddha

The beautiful looking Shamin Mannan of Sanskaar fame had taken a break from work due to hectic working hours. However it looks like the lady is all set to return to the small screen. As per a source the actress recently auditioned for Zee TV’s weekend property Buddha and also got shortlisted to play Siddhartha’s wife Yashodhara. So is the actress taking up the role? “Well, things are still being worked out between her and the production house,” said a source close to Shamin. The source further added that Shamin is majorly looking forward to being a part of Bollywood films as she has been auditioning for them. In fact, she has also been shortlisted for one of the films so, if things work out at 70mm she might not take up Buddha. When contacted the actress said, “All I can tell you is that I have auditioned for the show.” What about films? “I am looking forward to films as well as good roles on TV but will take up whatever turns out to be the best.” The actress is also looking at playing important roles in episodics as she tells us, “I wouldn’t mind taking up a role in a show like Yeh Hai Aashiqui.” We’d be more than happy to see you back on-screen lady!
