MUMBAI: Popular Bollywood and TV star Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on 14th June. As per the initial reports, the actor ended his life due to depression. Several reports also claimed that he was affected by lobbying in Bollywood and that led to a big debate on social media.
However, his death turned into a big mysterious case after his father KK Singh filed an official complaint against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and made some serious allegations against her. Now, as the CBI investigation is going on, a lot of people are seeking justice for the late actor and one amongst them is Balika Vadhu fame Shashank Vyas.
Shashank who has already started shooting for his film Laila Majnu has been closely following the whole matter. However, he doesn't agree that he would have ended his life because of depression.
In his interview with a leading portal, Shashank went on saying, "Depression can happen to anyone, but that does not necessarily mean that you will commit suicide. We have so many examples from Bollywood who suffered from depression, but did they commit suicide? So, if someone is depressed doesn't mean that he or she will commit suicide. I guess people should stop connecting depression with his death and wait for the CBI to uncover the truth."
Meanwhile, Rhea, who was Sushant's girlfriend and also a prime suspect in his case, was arrested by the NCB over the alleged drug peddling angle in the case. And a lot of Bollywood celebrities have come out in her support and are asking justice for her.
Shashank feels no one should be blamed for taking sides like the ones who are supporting her now.
