MUMBAI: Shehnaaz Gill’s upcoming film Ikk Kudi, which also marks her debut as a producer, beautifully captures a young woman’s journey to find the right life partner. Written and directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the film is set to hit theatres on October 31.
For the promotions of the same, the actress was seen giving several interviews. In an interview with Zoom, Shehnaaz spoke about collaborating with Yo Yo Honey Singh for a music video wherein he also gave a shoutout to Gill's movie Ikk Kudi.

Talking about her collaboration with Honey Singh, Gill revealed that a lot of the credit for the way she looked and experimented with the same should go to Honey Singh. She revealed that it was him who suggested that she should have a Jamaican look with apt hairdos and outfits.
Commenting on the song, Shehnaaz mentioned that she finds the same one of her best videos. She said, "I think abhi tak ka jo mujhe mera best video lagta hai... kuch alag lagta hai, look wise, dance wise, mujhe lagta hai, this is the video."
(I think, so far, this feels like my best video... it looks different — in terms of appearance and dance — I feel this is the video.)
She added that the choreography for the song was quite different and not something she usually does, but she managed to learn all the steps within just two days of practice. Shehnaaz also praised Honey Singh, calling him a genuinely nice person who gives his co-artists space to perform and ensures they feel comfortable on set. “People often say that I easily connect with those around me, and I feel Honey Singh is the same. He makes you feel like his own, which naturally builds great chemistry,” she shared.
