Shekhar Suman, the badshah of blah has landed on SaharaOne's Dial One…and he has brought with him a tide of change!
Dial One…has more interactive segments now, with the first viewer being invited in the studio itself, instead of answering the questions over the telephone lines. The set too has shifted to the opulent grounds of Film City in suburban Mumbai.
The rules on the show also have undergone drastic changes. In the show now, the prize money is given to the participant at the outset and then he is asked to defend it --- by answering the questions asked to him.

The participant is also given one lease of life. Radha Mishra was the first participant to be part of the new format that kicked off on Monday. Shekhar took the floor, Mandira should take over the reins for the other half of the week.
This episode went on air live on 26 September.
Another innovation on the show is the inclusion of one celebrity guest in every episode. Rohit Roy was the first guest, and he took home a brand new Tata Indigo Marina car, apart from a host of other prizes.
