What better launch for a show than Dussera? According to sources Siddhant Cinevision’s Shraddha is tipped to launch on 28 September. The show will see Neha Janpandit and Varun Sobti as the lead pair. Neha was last seen in Woh rehne wali mehlon ki. The show also boasts of seasoned actors’ like Sudhir Dalvi and Sukanya Kulkarni. Says our source, “The show was to launch in August but it got delayed and is now tipped to launch on Dussera that is 28 September. As of now we are hearing that the show which was initially supposed to air in the afternoon band will now get an early evening time band. The show is tipped to air at 7:00 p.m. Game show Khelo Jeeto Jiyo hosted by Soha Ali Khan has concluded earlier this month so the show has chances of occupying the vacant time slot.” An actor source on the condition of anonymity however tells us that the show is launching on 28 September but remained clueless about the timing of the show. Says the actor, “I am also hearing that the show is launching on Dussera but I have no clue about its timing.” Supervising producer Mahuasen, however refused to comment on the timing and launch date of the show but said, “I cannot comment on the date and timing of the show but the show is launching very soon. The show is about a girl who readily sacrifices her dreams and desires to make her parent’s dreams come true.” We sent a text message to both producer Manish Goswami and Sr. Creative Director Star Plus, Anupama Mandloi but they didn’t revert.
