Shweta Gautam to feature in Sony TV's CID; excited to share screen space with B.P. Singh

Talented actress Shweta Gautam is excited on getting an opportunity of working with Producer B.P. Singh after a time gap of nearly 15 years. Their association dates back to the time when B.P. Singh used to direct his series Aahat. A young Shweta had began her career acting in stories of Aahat, and now after so many years, the actress got a chance of being part of Fireworks Productions' CID. Shweta who is presently shooting for the episodic will essay the role of Mala. Noted actress Priya Shinde, who was a winner in Splitsvilla and has essayed a cameo in Ek Ghar Banaunga will play the role of Rohini. B.P. Singh will also be part of the episode, wherein he will investigate the case as DCP Chitrole. The story will be titled 'Deadly Dinner' wherein a list of noted people, including ACP Pradhyuman (Shivaji Satam) will be invited for a dinner party. Tragedy will strike when the host of the party would be killed. DCP Chitrole will then enter the scenario to nab the culprit. When contacted, Shweta Gautam who was last seen in Star Plus' Meri Bhabhi told us, "Yes, I am shooting for CID. I am having a fabulous time on the sets. It feels nice to be interacting with B.P. Sir after so many years. The best part is that he will be acting in this episode too. Sharing screen space with him is a great experience." This particular episode will go on air tomorrow, Sunday (29 June).
