Snigdha Pandey, who is better known as Rama Bhabhi of Star Plus’ Navya is extremely excited. The actress is part of a Bengali film, titled Blind Lane. In fact, the actress has almost completed shooting for this movie, except for a little patch work left which she will finish as soon as she is done shooting for Navya. She will be joining the cast and crew in Calcutta only after 13 February 2012.
According to a reliable source, the film is based on Naxalism and Snigdha plays the protagonist who is a journalist by profession. However, she falls in love with a Naxalite.
This movie is said to be roughly based on Bollywood movie Dil Se; in this film too there will be a love triangle of which Snigdha will be the centre of attraction. The film is being produced by Tapasi Dasgupta Communications and is expected to complete sometime in February. Tellychakkar.com spoke to Snigdha who said, “Naxalism is a burning issue in west Bengal and it’s nice that we are raising this issue through a film. I am looking forward to it.”
The movie will, in all probability, will hit the screens in April or early May 2012.
