Splitsvilla 2 to launch on Feb 14

There is good news for all Splitsvilla viewers. Splitsvilla on MTV is back with its new season. A source from the channel informs, “This romantic show will launch on the day of romance, Valentine’s Day on February 14. The new season has a new variation in the format. Unlike the previous season’s ratio of participants of two boys and twenty girls, the new season will have eight boys and eight girls. The show is planned to go international and so far Thailand is the show’s destination. So far as the host is concerned, Ranvijay is likely to host the show once again. The casting of the girls and boys is in the process.” Produced by Colosceum the creative director of entertainment, Rajiv Laxman says, “The new season is different from the earlier one. Being a part of MTV, we have to keep it fresh and we get a lot to learn in the process of being different every time. It is the same with Roadies . In every season of Roadies , there is something new. On Splitsvilla we are not focusing on the romance of two people this time. Earlier, twenty girls had to build an equation with two boys but this time we will have something what we call MAD ‘Multiple Attraction Disorder’.” When asked about Thailand being the new destination he said, “Yes, we are intending to shoot the show in Thailand but it is not finalised. We have to see if Thailand is appropriate for the content or not.” For all those ‘MAD’ about this show keep watching this space.
