Sarika Raina of Mardaani fame has bagged a plump role in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show, Naagin on Colors.
The talented beauty who made heads turn in Splitsvilla 8 will be seen playing the role of the male lead, Arjun Bijlani’s elder sister on the show.
As per reliable sources, “Sarika will play a fun-loving, loud character, who would be totally drunk all day. She will be into her own world and will not bother about anything happening around her. This will be a prominent character, for the girl will have a funny element too.”
When contacted, Sarika confirmed the news, but refused to talk anything further.
We hear that the entire team of Naagin is presently in Bikaner, for their outdoor schedule. The show will go on floor in a day’s time.
Sarika has recently done episodics of Code Red on Colors. She has shot for a movie, yet to be released, wherein her character will be of a media tycoon, something similar to that of Rani Mukherjee’s in the movie Who Killed Jessica?
As we know, the new show coming from Balaji Telefilms, will be about the life of icchadhari naagins.
