Sumana Das part of Sunil Agnihotri's Chandrakanta

Sumana Das, last seen in Bairi Piya, will now be seen in Sunil Agnihotri’s Chandrakanta on Sahara One. A source says, “Sumana will play Damini, an important character in the show as she will be the love interest of both Abhimanyu (Vindu Dara Singh) and Badrinath (Mamik). At present her character will work on maintaining peace between Chunargadh and Shivgadh. She will also be very close to Rani Roopmati (Rupa Ganguly).” Sumana confirmed the same and said, “Yes, I am part of the show and I have been shooting for it for a long time now.”
