Supriya Kumari is gung-ho about being part of Nautanki Telefilms' upcoming movie Ikkis Topon Ki Salaami

Supriya Kumari who essayed the role of Bharti in Colors’ Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki was recently on ‘cloud nine’ when the news of the Season 2 of the show coming made headlines. However, the lady is clueless whether the new season would require the character of Bharti or not. Says Supriya, “Well, I have not got a call yet for Sanskaar 2. And as you know, a new lead girl has been introduced and few new families have come in. So I really do not know whether the track of Bharti will get back again. As of now, the makers have not contacted me.” So is the girl disappointed? “Well, nothing like that. I am presently preparing for the shoot of my maiden commercial Hindi movie,” comes the reply from the actress. On dwelling more into the matter, Supriya reveals, “I am finalized to play one of the lead roles in Nautanki Telefilms’ upcoming movie Ikkis Topon Ki Salaami. I am gung-ho about that for the moment, as we will start shoot sometime in November (2013). So I am not keen on looking for work as of now. If Sanskaar comes my way, let’s see. Otherwise, I am in not too keen on taking up new work on TV for the moment.” Ask her more about her role in the movie, and she says, “I cannot reveal anything now. All I can say is that this movie and role is going to be my next challenge as actor.” We hear that Saurabh Tewari’s upcoming movie will have Anupam Kher, Devendu Sharma of Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame, Aditi Sharma of Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl fame, Manu Rishi who was seen in Phas Gaye Re Obama and Supriya Kumari playing pivotal roles.
