Sushmita Daan to stage a comeback with Jay Productions' next on Sony TV

Talented actress Sushmita Daan who was last seen in Zee TV’s Chhoti Bahu 2 will soon make a full-fledged comeback to television. She has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Jay Productions’ upcoming show for Sony Entertainment Television. The actress rose to fame at a tender age with Saans and went on to do serials like Vaidehi, Choti Maa, Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si, Aise Karo Na Vidaa to name a few. Recently, she was seen in an episodic story of Star Plus’ cop-based thriller Arjun. In the upcoming show of Jay and Kinnari Mehta, Sushmita will be playing mother to the female lead. Her character will be strong and very realistic. The mother and daughter will have a very cute bonding. As we know, Krystle DSouza who was last seen in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain has been finalized to play the female lead on the show. Karan Sharma of Pavitra Rishta fame will essay the male lead. This untitled show on Sony TV will focus on ‘Women Empowerment’. Jay Productions’ last show was for Zee TV titled Rab Se Sohna Isshq. We tried our level best to get in touch with Sushmita, but she remained unavailable for comment. This show is slated for a December launch on Sony TV.
