MUMBAI: Actors Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have reportedly filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage. According to close sources, the couple has been living separately for a while and had been facing issues for the past few years.
A report by India Today stated that Jay and Mahhi had made several attempts to resolve their differences, especially considering they share a daughter. However, the two have now mutually decided to part ways and are seeking an amicable divorce with shared custody of their child.

TellyChakkar tried contacting Jay and Mahhi but they remained unavailable for comment.
Jay and Mahhi’s love story began in the late 2000s when they first met at a common friend’s party and reconnected later at a nightclub. Their bond soon blossomed into love, and Jay proposed to Mahhi on December 31, 2009. The couple tied the knot in 2010, becoming one of Indian television’s most adored pairs.
After nine years of marriage, they welcomed their daughter Tara, who remains the center of their lives. Over the past year, the duo has maintained a low profile, with fans noticing that their social media accounts no longer feature posts about each other.
Earlier this year, Mahhi had reacted sharply to rumours about their separation, asking a reporter, “Why should I tell you? Are you my uncle?” Despite speculation, the couple was last seen together at Tara’s birthday celebration.
As Jay and Mahhi choose to walk separate paths, their fans continue to wish them peace, healing, and happiness ahead — for themselves and for their daughter.
