MUMBAI: This Christmas, Kapil Sharma fans will get the best gift, as the ace comedian will be making his comeback on TV. Kapil was going through a tough phase and went missing from the small screen for a while.
As per media reports, Kapil will be back with the next season of The Kapil Sharma Show during Christmas. The show will air on Sony from December 23rd. The actor–comedian has brought Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda, and Sumona Chakravarti on board for this season.
The format of the show will be somewhat similar to the earlier show, Comedy Nights with Kapil. As per some reports, a new set is being built at Mumbai’s Film City. The set will have houses and a marketplace where the various characters will interact.
There was news doing the rounds that Salman Khan may be producing the show and making an appearance on it. However, before that, the makers are trying to bring Shah Rukh Khan on board for the premiere episode. In addition, talks are on with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma to accompany him at the show.
