The OG song is to be released by Zee Music Company

MUMBAI: Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, a legendary singing reality show, continues to enthral audiences with its perfect blend of musical brilliance and entertainment.  As the competition gets tougher each week, fans eagerly tune in to watch contestants refine their raw potential into stellar performances, guided by the expertise of mentors- Sachin-Jigar, Sachet-Parampara, and Guru Randhawa.

This weekend, viewers will get to watch the legendary singer Mika Singh gracing the show as a special guest. The icing on the cake is, that this Sunday, viewers will have the incredible opportunity to watch contestant Shradha Mishra's power-packed performance to her first OG song, ‘Dhokebazi,’ composed by Sachin-Jigar. It was a moment of pride for Shradha as the iconic singer Mika Singh honoured her with the first clapboard click. Impressed by her mesmerizing voice, the mentors also couldn’t resist themselves and appreciated her tonal quality for this dance item number.

Mika Singh said, “This is definitely going to be a superhit song since I believe that the song which is stuck in your head after the first time you listen to it, stays forever in your heart. It is a very fantastic composition and is beautifully written by Jigar bhai’s wife- Priya. All the best to you, Shradha and many congratulations to your parents as well.”

Sachin-Jigar said, “Honestly speaking, this is one of the unique initiatives of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, because the contestants always sing the songs that are already released, and we have listened to it in a particular singer’s voice. But I believe the real test is when you have to sing a song whose tune is not familiar to you, and to grasp its soul and emotions, that is really difficult. I am so proud to reveal that within 2 nights, she has learnt this song, and she absolutely owned it. We have composed this kind of song for Shradha because we believe that Bollywood is missing out on this tonal quality. And I would like to say that if there is any young talent, who can do justice to such a song, it’s Shradha and no one else.”
