Colors’ Veer Shivaji took a leap last month and welcomed a grown up Shivaji. However, the TRPs of this historical drama dropped even with new faces joining the series and new twists and turns being introduced in the story. And now the buzz is that the unit of this show has been sacked. A reliable source tells Tellychakkar.com that these people, who were sacked, had been inefficient in their work. This led to delay in shoots and episodes weren’t shot in time. And since the production house was facing issues with the availability of actors’ dates too, it added to the woes. Owing to the constant delay in work, the production house sacked nearly eighty percent of the crew, last month (March). The crew was asked to leave by 31 March 2012 and the new crew joined in on 1 April 2012. Tellychakkar.com spoke to Producer Rupali Singh about this, who denied the news and said, “We haven’t sacked anybody at all, this news is not at all true.” However, somebody from the show on the condition of anonymity confirmed the same to Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, the production house has replaced eighty percent of the unit.”
