Is there really going to be a second season of Raju Hazir Ho?

Recently, a portal had reported that comedian Raju Srivastav will be coming up with the second of his show Raju Hazir Ho. However, rumour has it that this isn’t true but the once-sought-after Srivastav is himself spreading false stories. A source who was associated with the show says, “I’ve been hearing that Raju has been talking about the second season of Raju Hazir Ho. However, I don’t think the production house (Endemol India) has any such plans. The inaugural season performed very poorly and could barely get TRPs of 0.3. In fact, the first season was cut down to 34 episodes from the stipulated 40 because of the low TRPS. There’s been an overdose of comedy on TV and most producers are now looking to take a break. Laugther Challenge 5 too is said to be postponed till next year.” We spoke to a couple of Raju’s close aides, who said that the comedian has been going through a tough time and is deliberately spreading false tales so as to remain in the spotlight. It’s just not related to any show, Raju also misled the media with the news that he was joining politics. Raju Srivastav remained unavailable for comment. Endemol India country head Deepak Dhar didn’t respond to our text message. A production official requesting anonymity says, “It’s not our prerogative to comment on what Mr.Srivastav has to say to the media. We’ve got no comment to offer.” Srivastav hasn’t been seen in any stand-up show show since Raju Hazir Ho. He was last seen in a special episode of Taarak Mehta ka ooltah chashmah.
