A thrilling tale as part of a New Year special episode on Sony TV's CID

Sony Entertainment Television’s CID (Fireworks Productions) that has been constantly entertaining its viewers with exciting cases will be back with another thrilling tale tonight. The episode being a New Year special will churn out something really interesting for the viewers. In the episode, the CID team will receive an invitation to be the ‘guest of honour’ at a charity event being held at a haveli, on New Year’s Eve. The team will arrive at the haveli along with 10 more couples. The party will take off with a masked host telling the cops and other guests that they will play murder-victim game, and then, the kids will come to meet them. However, a guest will suddenly get killed for real and the mysterious masked guest will go missing. As the CID team will try to calm the guests and investigate the murder, they will realize that they are all trapped in this haveli. With the entire boundary to the building and main gates wired with killer electric current, there would be no way to escape for anyone. The killer will also go ahead and send threat notes asking the guests to kill each-other if they want to see their loved ones live. Problems will further mount for the CID team when Dr. Tarika (Shraddha Musale) will be asked to kill Dr. Salunkhe (Narendra Gupta) so that Inspector Abhijit (Aditya Srivastava) can live. Freddy (Dinesh Phadnis) and Nikhil (Abhay Shukla) will also come under the effect of some drug fog and become enemies of their own team. In the middle of it, the DCP will promise to get help as soon as he can. But until then, things will seem to be spiraling out of hand as Abhijit will go missing and the guests will try to kill each other to have an edge on this house arrest.
