Tanuj Mahashabde is seen playing the role of Krishnan Iyer in the show.

In a recent interaction with TellyChakkar, Tanuj spoke about his childhood days during diwali, public reaction to his role and much more.
Talking about Diwali memories, Tanuj said, ''I used to put a stall of crackers in my childhood due to trying times. I used to run a library. Those were different times and today's time is so different. I love bursting crackers. But today, I don't have time.''
Talking about his popularity and how fans ask him about his wife, kids and Jethalal to which he said, ''I am Popatlal in real life. I am not married yet. But whenever I visit public places, people meet me with so much love and shower blessings.''
Sharing his thoughts on doing such a big show and if he faced any struggles, he said, ''I had struggled a lot in the beginning when I started playing this character. I worked really hard. I observed many South Indians. Also, Asit bhai and the senior actors on the set helped me a lot. I always want to be a student and keep learning from everyone. I always respect the elders and talk with love to the younger ones. This is my student's life.''
