MUMBAI: Tanvi Shewale, who essays the role of Roshni Deshmukh in Rahul Kumar Tewary’s Udne Ki Aasha, is filled with joy and gratitude as the show marks a remarkable milestone of 600 episodes. For Tanvi, this achievement is particularly special — it’s her very first show to reach such a feat.

Sharing her thoughts with TellyChakkar exclusively on the same, Tanvi said, “Honestly, completing 600 episodes feels incredible to me because this is my first show to run for so long. I’m truly happy and grateful that we’ve achieved such a big milestone. Everyone on set is overjoyed, and the love we receive from the audience every single day is overwhelming. After almost every episode, we get messages saying, ‘We love your show, we love your character’ — and that constant appreciation means so much to us.”

Recalling one of her most cherished memories from the journey, Tanvi fondly remembers celebrating her birthday on set for the very first time.

“Recently, I celebrated my birthday while shooting, and it was the first time I’ve ever worked on my birthday. It felt so special — for an actor, that’s one of the best feelings because our work is unpredictable; you never know when you’ll be shooting again. Getting to celebrate while doing what I love was a blessing. It was one of the happiest and most memorable days of my life,” she says with a smile.

Speaking about why Udne Ki Aasha resonates so deeply with viewers, Tanvi believes the show’s authenticity is its biggest strength.

“The audience shares a genuine emotional connection with all of us. I often receive DMs from people saying how relatable the show feels to them. Every character — whether it’s Roshni, Tejas, Sailee, Sachin, Ria, Akash, Renuka, or Paresh — faces challenges that reflect everyday life. The emotions and conflicts aren’t exaggerated; they feel real and honest,” Tanvi explains.
