Uttaran to complete 1000 episodes on 7 November; Rashmi Desai to enter in a special episode

After Director’s Kut’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus, Colors’ Uttaran produced by FilmFarm Productions is all set to reach the major landmark of completing 1000 episodes. And the D-date for this milestone happens to be 7 November, 2012. Also, this is the day when Tapasya (Rashmi Desai), one of the strongest characters of the show marks her return. A lot has been written about Rashmi returning to the show as a positive character. We hear that she will be shown as the ‘liberal woman of today’ who will not take things lying down. The story is headed towards another major highpoint i.e. Mukta’s (Sreejita De) wedding to Tej (Kiran Karmarkar). This special episode will be aired on 7 November, and Tapasya is slated to make her entry during the wedding sequence. We hear that the channel Colors will be organizing a party to celebrate the 1000 episodes completion of Uttaran. We tried calling producers Pintoo Guha and Rupali Guha to know about their plans for the D-day, but could not get through to them. For the uninitiated, when Tellychakkar.com had talked to producer Pintoo Guha earlier when Uttaram completed 900 episodes, he had told us explicitly that the entire unit will party hard when the show completes 1000 episodes, and we see that landmark coming.
