Vaishali out of Baa Bahu…enters Teen Bahuraniyan

Vaishali Thakkar aka traditional bahu Pravina is no longer a part of Baa Bahu aur Baby. Although, the actress entered the show with a lot of expectations, her role seems to have lost its track and she is completely out of the picture now. Initially, she used to shoot for 20 days a month and gradually stopped shooting for the show. She tried to do something different by portraying positive and humorous character of Pravina in Baa… But, somewhere something went terribly wrong and her character in the show did not shape up the way she had expected. Vaishali seems unperturbed with the news, "I do not know whether I have been ousted from the show or not. It's just that I wasn't keeping too well for the past one month and needed a break. On the other hand, I was also tired of playing the same character for the last one year. So, the producer's (JD and Aatish) decided to bring in a twist in the tale where I won't be required anymore." There's another reason for Vaishali being out of the show. Apparently, she has entered Teen Bahuraniyan as Maya on the rival channel. Our source says that the producers are not very happy with the actress portraying two major characters on different channels. But then if unwell, how has Vaishali started shooting for Teen Bahuraniyan? "As an actor, my job is to act and not to sit at home. I couldn't refuse playing Maya as it's a powerful character," she adds. Elaborating on her role in the show, Vaishali says, "Let me make it clear that Maya is not a negative character. She's justified in her bizarre behavior because she's a troubled women. She hates her family. She's rebellious and a pivotal character." JD Majethia (Producer) says, "Vaishali wanted a break, but we could not give her leave because she was one of the main protagonist in the show. So, we thought of ending her character. However, it's her show and she can come back anytime." Well! All's well that ends well.
