MUMBAI: Shows that date back to the 90s and early 2000s are most remembered and are loved to date.
Remix, Dill Mill Gaye, and Shararat were very popular and are watched even today. One such show is Sanjivani, a medical drama based on the life of doctors.
The show narrated a tale of four medical interns—Juhi Singh, Rahul Mehra, Simran Chopra, and Omi Joshi—and how they balance their personal and professional lives. The show has come back with a bang and now stars Mohnish Behl, Gurdip Kohli, Surbhi Chandna, Namit Khanna, and Sayantani Ghosh.
Amidst the saas-bahu dramas, what makes the show a visual delight is that this is a medical drama and thus quite unique in its set-up, narrative, and treatment. Right from the time the show started, it took us back to the time the original aired.
It is always nice to see foes turn friends or enemies turn lovers.
The chemistry between Ishaani and Sid is something one will absolutely love and there is no denying to it. While the previous season had four doctors trying to bring the best of themselves in Sanjivani, this time, Ishaani and Sid are seen as resident doctors.
Also, everything that was missed in the original Sanjivani has somehow been covered up in the second season. The little humour and nok-jhoks between the characters has added more life to the show.
