One can expect fireworks when two of flagship shows of a channel come together to create an hour long special episode. Star Plus’ number one show Yeh rishta kya kehlataa hai and number two show Bidaai will unite tonight and the two leading couples of both the shows – Sadhana - Alekh Rajvansh and Akshara Naitik will come together for the first time. Says Angad Hasija aka Alekh Rajvansh of Bidaai, “Yes, this is a cross-over episode of Bidaai and Yeh rishta, which will air for an hour tonight. This is the first time I got to share the screen-space with Naitik (Karan Mehra) who is a fabulous actor and an equally good human being. We had a blast shooting together and since both of us hail from Punjab, we kept chatting in Punjabi all the time. It was more fun as it was an all guy shoot and we could discuss anything under the sun without worrying about the women eavesdropping.” Talking about the episode, Hasija says, “This is an episode where Akshara and Naitik have come down to Agra, where Sadhana and Alekh reside. Sadhana has been thrown out of the Rajvansh Mansion by Alekh’s family and upset with the turn of events she goes to a local temple. Since she goes missing Alekh goes to look for her. On his way he bumps into Naitik and asks him if he has seen his wife anywhere.In the mean time, Akshara too bumps into Sadhana in the temple.” Karan Mehra says, “This is going to be quite an interesting episode and I had fun shooting it. Angad is looking for his wife and I am trying to figure out an address as Akshara and I have come down to Agra. I accidently bump into him and we start chatting. I give him a piece of advice to sort out his problems and now it’s up to him to choose whether or not to follow it. I have met Angad a couple of times before but shooting with him was a pleasant experience.” The special episode will air tonight at 9 pm on Star Plus.
