MUMBAI: Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar's wedding festivities have begun and are going on in full swing. The singer, who is madly in love with his lady love Disha Parmar, went to meet his bride-to-be at the mehendi ceremony. The duo looked over the moon as they flashed their million dollar smiles and posed for the pictures.
Rahul even sang a song, 'mehendi laga ke rakhna doli saja ke rakhna' for his dulhaniya. Disha was blushing and she hugged him. Disha was accompanied by her girl gang. The actress looked pretty in a pink kurti and green sharara. She completed her look with a choker necklace and beautiful earrings. Her hands were beautifully decorated with mehendi. Rahul on the other hand complimented her in a green silk kurta pyjama. He looked handsome in traditional attire.
Disha and Rahul are all set to tie the knot on July 16 in Mumbai. The wedding will be attended by Rahul and Disha's close friends and family members. Mika Singh, Aly Goni and Jasmin are expected to perform at the wedding.
Rahul and Disha have been friends for the last few years. However, it was during his stay in the Bigg Boss 14 house that he realised his feelings for her. He proposed to her on national television and asked her for marriage. Disha entered the house on Valentine's Day this year and accepted his proposal.
Recently, the singer opened up about his honeymoon plans, he said, "“I think we will go to Lonavla for our honeymoon (laughs!) because you can’t travel anywhere else owing to the pandemic. On a serious note, we are planning to go somewhere….let’s see. We will have to figure out whether flights are operational and we get the visa. We haven’t decided on a place yet, because after the wedding we just want to relax for a week and not do anything. Also, I have some prior commitments to finish first post the wedding. That’s why we are not rushing into it. We will probably go for our honeymoon sometime later.
However, when we do, we will go to some place in Europe, say Switzerland or Austria.”
