MUMBAI: Vineet Raina is now featured in the role of lawyer Dev Shekhawat in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Fans of the show won't be able to watch him on television going forward as he has submitted his papers. According to Raina, he left the show because he didn't like his track and wasn't getting enough time on air. Although Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) sister and Vineet's Dev fall in love, their family is against marriage.

According to Vineet Raina, he found the part of Dev Shekhawat intriguing when it was first explained to him. However, his character was getting very little screen time. "I am not sure
what were the reasons for not enough screen space for Dev Shekhawat. Since Rajan Shahi's
team is like family, we amicably decided that I exit the show. I am hopeful that we will work
again on some other project," Raina tells the popular news portal.
Vineet is currently filming On Different Grounds, an English romantic comedy for OTT, in Nigeria.
In addition to Mulk, Tum Bin Jaaoon Kahaan, Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Vaidehi, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Ssshhh Koi Hai, Nach Baliye 4, Begusarai, Kaala Teeka, Choti Sarrdaarni, Meri Gudiya, Pardes Mein Hai Mera, and Ishq Mein Marjawan are just a few of the TV shows in which Vineet Raina worked on.
