MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Rohit Purohit, who is winning hearts as a doting father on-screen, embraced fatherhood in real life too. Rohit and his actress-wife Sheena Bajaj have welcomed a baby boy and have been quite candid about their pregnancy journey and the struggles they faced along the way.
In a recent interview, Sheena shared her heartfelt story of trying to conceive for a long time. She revealed that it was actually Rohit’s close friend, actor Samarth Jurel, who first predicted her pregnancy.

Recalling the moment, Sheena said that on her birthday, her family was a little low as the couple had been struggling to conceive and had almost given up hope. That day, Samarth visited their home and, in a casual conversation, mentioned to her that she might be expecting. The remark left her surprised, but it made her curious enough to take a pregnancy test the next morning.
Sheena revealed that she took the test and, without much thought, tossed the kit into the dustbin. Two hours later, something nudged her to check again—and to her absolute joy, the test confirmed she was pregnant.
