Amruta Subhash says, “I love playing grey characters because I believe each of us has a grey side” – Exclusive 

MUMBAI :Amruta Subhash is one of the most talented actresses we have in the industry. She has been making a mark in Bollywood as well as on OTT. In 2022, she featured in multiple OTT projects like Wonder Women and Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt. Ltd. The actress impressed one and all with her performances in both projects.

TellyChakkar recently had a Round Table interaction with Amruta Subhash, Gulshan Devaiah, Aahana Kumra, Amol Parashar, and Naveen Kasturia, and the actors opened up about playing multi-layered characters in the web series.

While talking about playing grey characters, Amruta said, “Personally, I love playing grey characters because I believe each of us has a grey side. I believe that each of us tries to show that we don’t have a grey side, and we are continuously showing that like for example ‘I don’t feel jealous’. We need to do that in society. So, I feel these grey characters are the only way where we can leave everything and show that side of mine without being shy because I am that character. So, I am hiding behind that character and showing it.

“If I play it well that means I have it inside; everyone has it inside. But, that character is giving me that opportunity and for me, grey characters are divine because I get to express that. If I say in an interview that I don’t have it (grey side), of course, it’s a lie. So, I feel it’s a very good space that I am getting to explore, and I am happy and it should keep happening,” she added.
