MUMBAI: Everyone has their dream but what struggles and what path you take to fulfill your dream, is very important. To throw the light on the themes of dream and passion, the movie Ardh which has Rajpal Yadav in the leading role has finally hit the digital platform and also stars Rubina Dilaik, who had made a Bollywood entry with the movie.

Talking about the plot of the movie, it is a story about Shiva, played by Rajpal Yadav, who is an aspiring actor and is living in the city of Dreams, Mumbai, along with his wife Madhu, played by Rubina Dilaik and his son. Shiva wants to become an actor and he is seeking a single opportunity to make his way in the Bollywood industry, but it is not so easy for him and his struggle and journey has been shown in this movie.

The screenplay of the movie is beautifully written and it is a fast pace story which will not allow you to get bored; also, the direction is done beautifully, by Palash Muchhal.

Talking about the performances, no doubt it is out and out a Rajpal Yadav show; as it is always a treat to watch the actor defining his craft. The actor will make you fall in love with his character and will leave you with teary eyes. On the other hand, Rubina Dilaik is quite impressive, but unfortunately we get to see very little of the actress in the movie and it's the same with Hiten Tejwani.

The positive point of the movie has to be Rajpal Yadav and his performance. No doubt, you will see the actor in a never seen before avatar in this movie and yet again, he has proven his craft with this movie and this character. We won't be wrong in saying that this movie Ardh, is another feather in the cap of Rajpal Yadav. Also, the movie throws light on the reality of the Bollywood industry to some extent. The romantic scenes between Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik are very less, but they are shot beautifully.

Talking about the negative point, no doubt the fans would want to see more of the actress Rubina Dilaik but unfortunately she has less screen time in the movie. Also, there are few scenes which you may find unrealistic.

Having said all this, no doubt the movie Ardh will definitely win your heart.This one can be your pick for the week!
