MUMBAI: Actor Sahil Arora known for Beiimaan Love, MX Player's award winning short films "Good Night Sleep Tight" and "Bhranti" will be seen in web-series titled Kalamanch alongside Kya Hua Tera Vaada fame Tv actor Priya Chauhan which is created and written by Kanan Srivastava and Neeraj Ganvir. The show also stars Rose Sardana, Siffat Gandhi, Kanan Srivastava, Sonal Sagore, Amit Poddar and Neeraj Ganvir in pivotal roles. 

Sahil talks about his character in the show. He says,"I play the character of Kunal who is a business man and runs his own company, is married to Kanika who is an actress, running the Kalamanch studio to train actors. My involvement starts by being a part of this theatre group along with her and my personality is such that I am interested only in things that benefit me and solely my interests. I have a daughter from my first wife to take care off. I treat Kanika as a glam doll in my life with no much regards of her devotion and dedication towards me. My character revolves around finding hook up interests which triggers Kanika towards telling facts about my life to my daughter which inturn escalates towards disputes between us."

Talking about how he prepped for rhe role he tells, "Being a trained actor devoted towards my craft for over a decade and showcasing different characters along my journey as an actor, I really believed I could do justice to this role and my preparation came from the experience gained over the years so that I can portray Kunal in a similar fashion the writers had imagined it to be."

Giving an insight about the show Sahil tells,"Kalamanch is primarily a story of 8 different characters coming together from different walks and experiences of life in this theatre class. Each and every character had a clear purpose and a mission to achieve their own destiny to find themselves. This mix of engaging different emotions and portrayals was seen, really brings out the curiosity to know more and discover more about them in the show."
