MUMBAI: We are seeing how a lot of collaborations are happening in the digital space, as the OTT platform is gaining more and more importance with the rise in consumption. And now, as we all know, filmmakers Nikhil Advani and Siddharth Roy Kapoor are joining hands for a Sony LIV web series titled Rocket Boys.
It was earlier announced that Pataal Lok actor Ishwak Singh will play the role of Sarabhai and that Jim Sarbh, who is widely known for his performance in Neerja, Padmaavat, and Made In Heaven has been roped in to step into the shoes of Homi Bhabha.
And now TellyChakkar is back with breaking news! Actors Rajit Kapoor and Sanjay Bhatia will also be seen in the web show Rocket Boys. Yes, you read that right!
Rajit Kapoor who is known for his portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi in the 1996 film The Making of the Mahatma for which he won the National Film Award for Best Actor, will be seen along with Sanjay Bhatia who was seen in movies like Radhe and Drishyam.
It is said that the series which is set between 1938 to 1964 deals with India’s space program and its atomic energy program, spearheaded by Sarabhai and Bhabha respectively.
