MUMBAI: ALTBalaji’s Baarish brought the old-school monsoon romance back. It was a tale of love, family, and drama. Sharman Joshi Asha Negi made their digital debuts with the much-awaited show.
Baarish showcased the hardships of maintaining relationships and how a imperfect love story was defined by the couple's responsibilities towards their respective families.
The makers are all set to launch season 2, and the shoot has already begun. Baarish 2 stars Sharman Joshi, Asha Negi, Vikram Singh Chauhan, and Priya Banerjee.

As per recent reports, Disha Kapoor, who is known for her performance in Naagin – Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel, has bagged a role in the series. IWM Buzz reports that the actress will play the role of a calm and soothing factor in Ankit’s life. Ankit is married to Shreya. Since her evil ideologies will have an affect on Ankit, he will find solace in Disha.

Baarish 2 will also mark the digital debut of veteran actor Jeetendra who will play an important cameo in the series.
