Exciting! Dunki Director Rajkumar Hirani set to make OTT debut with web show starring Vikrant Massey but not as a director

MUMBAI: The renowned director Rajkumar Hirani has been in the headlines recently, primarily because of his next film Dunki, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, and his efforts to support up-and-coming talent by creating the Newcomers Initiative. While fans are excitedly awaiting the release of Dunki, Hirani may be branching out into the over-the-top (OTT) market, according to rumors. In fact, he has selected Vikrant Massey to be the main character in this exciting new project.

According to the most recent rumors, Rajkumar Hirani is developing a project with Vikrant Massey for the OTT platform.  However, Hirani doesn't intend to be directing this one. He's stepping into the role of producer and contributing his artistic ideas.

With the production currently in full flow, the final ensemble cast and other important pieces are coming together quite quickly. For a year or two, the director of Munna Bhai MBBS had his eye on the OTT platform, and he didn't waste any time in starting the process as soon as the perfect script came along.

In Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, the intriguing plot of the illegal immigration plan known as 'Donkey Flight' is presented in great depth. It's none other than Shah Rukh Khan who is leading the way. Red Chillies Entertainment and Jio Studios collaborated on this film, which stars Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, and Boman Irani in key parts.

Filming for the film took place in a variety of places, including foreign capitals like London, Budapest, Jeddah, and Neom, as well as the stunning vistas of Kashmir and the busy streets of Mumbai. Pritam is in charge of the soundtrack.

12th Fail, the latest film from Vikrant Massey, has opened in theaters, and initial reviews seem to be positive. The highly regarded Vidhu Vinod Chopra is the director. Prior to this, Massey starred in films like Forensic, Gaslight, and Mumbaikar. There's also his next film, Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba, which is something to look forward to.
