MUMBAI: Actor Zain Khan Durrani is getting some amazing responses for his recently released web series titled Mukhbir - The Story of a Spy, not only for his acting but also for his strong on-screen presence.
On the other hand, actor Abdul Hussain has been winning the hearts of the fans, over time, with his amazing acting contribution. We have seen some beautiful characters coming from the actor and getting all the love from the fans. Even Adil is currently getting some amazing responses for Mukhbir - The Story of a Spy.
Tellychakkar got in touch with the actors where they revealed which celebrity life would they want to be a part of and much more?
A word or a line that you speak a lot?
Adil – “What I’m trying to say”, “I can’t put it in words”
Zain – “Umm”, in between my sentences I suppose.
A habit of yours that’s hard to let go?
Adil – Oh god! I can’t even say it publicly. My doctor.
Zain – We both have the same doctor.
A reel character that you feel would be really boring to meet in real life?
Adil – I should not say that. It’s very judgemental.
Zain – I think it would be very boring to meet Walter White in real life because he’s always pretending to be very non-decrypt so I think it would be very boring to meet that version of it not the Heisenberg version of it.
A memory from the sets of Mukhbir that you would cherish?
Zain – The entire journey, in fact.
Adil – I had a simple line but with some wit mixed in it and I don’t know how to say it. I can’t say that line right now.
If the roles are reversed, and you get to be a journalist for day, what is a question that you would like to ask yourself?
Adil – “What stops you from bearing your soul?”, ”Can you be transparent enough?”
Zain – I think I would end up asking myself about all the processes I suppose.
Adil – Then he’ll be the character I would not like to meet in my real life.
If you were put in a time-machine which would be that one set you would like to visit and why?
Zain – I would really like to go to a Charlie Chaplin set. I really want to see how he conveyed so much without the use of any words and we are dying here lost in the verbosity that we’re having here. Even after that, we don’t get to convey it. I really just want to be there and experience that genius at work.
Adil – I would like to visit ‘Gandhi’ set made by Eden Burroughs. I would just like to be there and fly on the wall to watch Ben Kingsley for how he brought the character alive and made me fall in love with Gandhi.
What would be the top 3 things your day would consist of?
Zain – Having breakfast with the family, having an amazing day at shoot, and coming back to a very well-made dinner.
Adil – To have a good cup of coffee that I’m supposed to give away, give away, cooking a very good meal for our son which I did this morning at 5:45. He had to go to school and I had to catch the flight. He’s just been made a senior prefect or something. So he has to one hour earlier and I was like “Yes! Now he’s getting it”. So it’s that and then talk to my acting teacher.
A job that you feel you would drastically fail at?
Adil – Accontant.
Zain – Strangely I’m good at accounts. I wouldn’t want to be a maths teacher. I don’t want to be that person.
Something that the audience feels is true about you but it’s not?
Adil – They think that I’m a very serious person.
Zain – I haven’t particularly thought of that but I suppose it’s more than that. I guess it about my work break, stereotype of being Kashmiri and all of that. I suppose it’ll be all of that, with my work.
If you could wake up as any celebrity but yourself, who that celebrity be and why?
Zain – Shahrukh Khan. I would like to look at the 20,000 fans in my lawn.
Adil – I think the opposite would be this man I admire a lot as an actor. His name is Daniel Delouis. He does a film and then he goes to some island in Scotland and he stitches shoes or does carpentry. If I wake up, I think it would be so nice.
