MUMBAI: Saikat Chatterjee has been contributing to the acting industry for a long time. The actor, who has given some amazing projects like Bachao and Pareeksha, looks forward to doing something different for fans. He is all set to be seen in the upcoming movie Upnyaas, which will be directed by Rahul Kumar Shukla.
Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with Saikat with regard to his acting journey and upcoming movie.

Upnyaas is a psychological thriller. The actor says that saying anything about the movie or giving some points about the character will spoil the excitement. He just wants to share that fans will see a one of its kind thriller. He will be playing an interesting and different character in the movie.

The actor says that it has been 30 years since he has been contributing to the theatre. He belongs to Jharkhand, and acting was never a part of the plan. Coming into the acting world was just a coincidence, but after joining theatre, there was no looking back for him. He is always hungry for good characters

With the rise in consumption of OTT content, amazing projects are being made on digital platforms. He looks forward to doing some challenging characters. He would surely want to play a negative character as it is difficult to play something that you are not.
