MUMBAI: Ratula Saha Varsha talks about her upcoming web series Mombian - Gul & Sakshi Ki Pyaaari Si Love Story. The actress talks about her what she thinks about bold scenes on OTT platforms, the directors with whom she likes to work, and the movies which have inspired her.

I am not against the bold scenes if required in the script. There are many web series that show unnecessary bold scenes, which are not required. Without bold scenes also, one can show a romantic relationship between a man and a woman. Hence, it should be there if the web series requires it. It should not be there to titillate the audience.

Ratula Saha Varsha on the actors and directors with whom she wants to work
I don't have a wish list of actors whom I want to work with. I always believe in good stories. It's not like I don't want a good co-star. For me, the story should be good and the director should be good. If you get both, then one could do magic on screen. So I think I want to work with good directors and not actors because I think acting is all about directors. If the director is good, they will make you do good acting in front of the camera. It is completely a director's product.

There are many Bengali stage actors who have inspired me. I don't like many commercial Bengali films rather talking about Bollywood. I like movies which has messages in it. I love to see movies like Masaan. They inspire me.
