MUMBAI: Film maker Gautam Parvi has been winning the hearts of the fans with his amazing craft; no doubt it is always a treat to watch the work coming from the side of the Gautam Parvi. The filmmaker is now all set with his upcoming web series titled 'Ghar set Hai'.

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, filmmaker Gautam Parvi spoke in detail about the upcoming web series.

Gautam revealed, The show is an all in one combination of drama, complications and comedy. In one word- everyday life. In its essence, Ghar Set Hain is a story of hopes, dreams and conviction and in its portrayal; it is funny, witty and very much real. It’s set in a small village called Raya on the outskirts of Mathura.

Gautam on the storyline of the web series

Gautam says, The story follows Lakhan Sharma who left Raya and ran off to Mumbai to make a career in travel industry. He refused to stay put in a small town of Raya with people who didn’t dream big. That’s why no matter how many times his mother tricked him into coming to Raya to meet prospective matches, he rejected them all.

When he came to Raya again, falling prey to another one of his mother’s ingenious tactics and to reject yet another prospective match set up by his mother, Lakhan met Madhuri Dixit for the first time.

Madhuri is a school teacher by profession who carries out her job with the utmost passion. She had no interest in leaving Raya and living elsewhere. Not at first sight, but Madhuri and Lakhan eventually developed a liking towards each other. The match was made, the date was set. But the Almighty had some changes of his own in-store to make in Lakhan’s itinerary that changes Lakhan’s outlook and in the process rediscovers his roots.

Gautam on the high points and the USP of the web series

Gautam revealed that we get to see less of slice of life family drama on digital platform, this is one such show which brings the family together and will keep them entertained. Also the USP and the high point of the web series is the simplicity. Also, there is a beautiful message towards the end of the web series which will be loved by the fans.

Indeed we look forward to see what the director Gautam Parvi has to offer with this upcoming slice of drama web series; the first episode of which will hit YouTube on 15th July.
