MUMBAI: We had earlier updated that Radha Krishn fame Vivek Anand Mishra will be playing the role of Laxman in Shiv Sagar’s Jai Maa Vaishnodevi under the banner of Sagar Arts. 

Now, we reached out to Vivek and in an exclusive chat he opens up about his upcoming projects. Apart from Jai Maa Vaishnodevi, he has been roped in for another mythological show based on the Jain monks. He will be playing the role of Vidhyasagar Maharaj (Jain Guru). The platform for the series is yet to be decided.

Vivek will be also seen in a Crime series directed by Dhiraj Mishra. The series will soon go on floors on MX Player. The details about his character are yet to be disclosed. 

It will be interesting to see Vivek in three completely different characters. From being Laxman to acting in a crime series, he is indeed exploring the graph of versatility and is also bringing some amusing content for his fans and followers. 

While talking about his show Jai Maa Vaishnodevi, he opened up about his preparations for his role as Laxman, “Before auditioning for the character, I met Sunil Lahri sir and he advised me to watch Ramayan for getting into the skin of Laxman and to understand the character’s mannerism. After watching and absorbing the character through and through, I sent my audition video to him and I got selected in no time.”
