MUMBAI : Actor and casting director Abhishek Banerjee is indeed one of the most loved names in OTT space. Over the time with his comedies and intense characters, the actor has created a solid mark in the hearts and minds of the fans. Currently, he is getting lots of love for his new series titled Humorously Yours on Zee5.
Actor Abhishek Banerjee exclusively speaks about the shooting of the new season and also what different will we see in the new season of Humorously Yours.
What made you realize that it is time for a new season of Humorously Yours? And why such long breaks between each season?
Abhishek Banerjee shares, “I received a call saying makers want to make Humorously yours S3. I couldn’t believe it at first because of course there’s a long gap but it felt good that we still have an audience who loves the show. Honestly, actors have zero say on the subsequent seasons, we are always given a call once the deal is finalized”
What is different in this season of Humorously Yours? What will the viewers take away from this season?
Abhishek Banerjee adds, “We have grown older, ha-ha! but still the same soul. Vipul is struggling to find his voice in comedy and crowd work, and this season shows the way he learns from his roots”

When there’s a long gap between shooting each season and between shooting and promoting the series, do you disconnect from the series / character?
Abhishek Banerjee says, “A part of the character always stays with you, so no I feel an actor can anytime switch on the character he or she has played before”
